Yaroslavl State Philharmonic is the leading concert institution in the region.
The Philharmonic includes several concert ensembles, such as the Yaroslavl Academic Governor's Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic Choral Capella Yaroslaviya, the Serpentine Ensemble of Russian Folk Instruments, the soloist ensemble of the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic conducted by Mikhail Bushuev, as well as soloists – People's Artist of Russia Vera Dobrolyubova (soprano), laureates of international competitions Sofya Iglitskaya (organ), Elizaveta Grodzinskaya (mezzo-soprano), Alexander Sukhanov (baritone), pop singers Taras Makarenko, Dmitry Glaktionov, Nina Tokareva, master of artistic expression.
A significant place in the posters is occupied by the International Organ Festival named after Roizman, the Preobrazhenie Art Festival, which is held jointly with the Yaroslavl State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, the Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival, the international festivals Jazz over the Volga and the Kogan Festival.
