The development of the first drug has been launched as part of a joint project between the R-Pharm Group of companies and Yaroslavl State Medical University, which has become an antibacterial drug for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections. The project is included in the state program for the development of modern Russian universities "Priority 2030". It is planned to create five drugs for the treatment of gastroenterological, cardiological, neurological and other socially significant diseases.

Specialists in medical and preventive medicine are beginning to be trained in Yaroslavl. Since 2024, YAGMU has started training in the specialty program "Medical and preventive care".

For the third year in a row, YSMU students have been actively promoting bone marrow donation in our hometown! Bone marrow transplantation is necessary for the treatment of malignant blood diseases and some other diseases, such as severe anemia or blood clotting disorders.

Industry

1. Own innovative developments and solutions used on Looker 1100:

The Looker 1100 energy system is divided into 10 independent modules containing 1800 sensors (5 times more than analogues), controlled by a central computer system, which allows:

- conduct online monitoring of the status of each module with visualization on the central screen;

- ensure automatic shutdown of the failed module and prevent the spread of an emergency situation to the entire energy system at the cost of losing only 10% of the battery capacity.;

- to save time on troubleshooting with minimal loss of power reserve due to the remaining 90% of battery capacity.

2. JSC Rybinsk Instrument Engineering Plant has developed an innovative complex for detecting and suppressing unmanned aerial vehicles.

The mobile radar station can detect and track up to 32 targets simultaneously at a distance of up to 10 km around the clock and in all weather conditions. The device can "see" land and water objects, small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including at ultra-low altitudes.

3. In September 2024, a new workshop was opened at the LMZ Rybinsk enterprise with the introduction of innovative heat-resistant casting technology using gasified models.

4. Yaroslavskiye Kraski Association JSC, together with the National Research Tomsk State University, completed work on the project "Creation of antiviral (including effective against SARS-CoV-2 coronovirus), antimicrobial (including effective against nosocomial infections) and antifungal paints and varnishes and formulations with extended duration of action".
