This is a new point of attraction not only for the capital of the Golden Ring, but also for the region as a whole. The restaurant has 65 seats and is located in a historic building dating back to 1900 in the very center of the city.
Zakroma is a project with a clearly defined mission. The concept is headed by a study of a traditional Russian product. The idea was based on the desire to create a restaurant about Russian taste that could become the face of the Yaroslavl region. A lot of mind and soul has been invested in every element of the interior of the Zakroma restaurant, from the precise organization of the space to the millimeter, its color and lighting solutions, to the choice of dishes, and the uniforms of the staff. Every detail was selected in such a way as to unobtrusively provide food to all the senses. The central element of the restaurant is a Russian oven with two mouths. The light yellow color of the oven is complemented by a bas-relief panel, the central character of which is the epic hero-farmer Mikula Selyaninovich, a peasant cultivating the land. The central wall of the restaurant is decorated with a painting based on the fresco from the Yaroslavl temple of Elijah the Prophet "Elisha at the Shunammite Woman", in the center of the fresco is a painting of peasant labor, better known as "Harvest".
