Take a film tour of Yaroslavl filming locations: from the first film "Drama on the Volga" in 1913 to the beloved films "Afonya", "Big Change", "Crew", etc.
It was here that the film "Big Change" was shot. The friends of the cinema were walking along the embankment to the school: Svetlana Afanasyevna and Grigory Ganzha. Nearby is the very place where Nestor Petrovich drowned.
Now the Volga embankment is famous for the museums located along it, it is often called the museum, and at the very beginning of the XX century all its beauties were captured in the frames of the first film "Drama on the Volga", shot in 1913 in Yaroslavl.
During the opening credits of the film "Athos", when the characters are trampling in a puddle, the bell tower and the tops of the church of Elijah the Prophet of the XVII century, located on Sovetskaya Square (former Ilyinskaya) in Yaroslavl, are clearly visible in its reflection. In addition, the historic three-storey government buildings in the classical style surrounding the square fall into the frame.
The theater building was included in the footage of the movie "My Boyfriend". Since the main character of the film "Semyon" runs around the city like crazy, many recognizable places of Yaroslavl got into the frame, including the F. Volkov Theater, which, by the way, is the first Russian theater.
