The Summer Garden is adjacent to the P. K. Sharapov Museum of Local Lore. At the end of the XIX century, it belonged to the St. Petersburg merchant A.A. Akimov. The summer garden is a cozy corner and a favorite place of recreation for citizens and guests of the city. Sculptures are installed in the garden, reminding that a chessboard is depicted on the coat of arms of the city of Danilova. The exposition "Guardians of Windows", which is presented in the garden, tells about the Danilovsky platbands, surprises and makes lovers of wooden architecture fall in love with themselves.
The Danilovskaya Art Gallery and exhibition halls introduce modern fine art of various types, styles and directions. Significant events were: an exhibition of the originals of Nicholas Roerich, exhibitions of academicians D. Tutunjan, V. Strakhov, E. Paskhina, world–famous animation artists A. Petrov and M. Aldashin, photographers A. Lyskin, V. Vyatkin, director T. Shakhverdiyev. In the periodically updated expositions, viewers have the opportunity to get acquainted with the works of artists from Danilov, Yaroslavl, Uglich, Vologda, Kostroma, Moscow and other regions of Russia.
