He made the Myshkars famous throughout the upper Volga as the best experts on river expanses, able to overcome any sandbanks and the most difficult stone ridges. About merchants and nobles – noble creators and donors. About Myshkin's inimitable potters and carvers, peasant painters. You will touch the past, living in things, the faithful companions of the mice in the XVII-XX century who lived in the Stone Age, and in the Middle Ages, in the era of the Terrible Ivan Vasilyevich, and in the golden nineteenth century, and in the merciless twentieth.

They will have a silent but intelligent conversation with you: the desk of N. A. Nekrasov, books by the historian and bibliophile F. K. Opochinin, objects that remember the invincible naval commander F. F. Ushakov. Banners and empty shell casings from the Soviet hard years will look at you. And the scattering of antique buttons, commodity seals and keys will tell about the details of bygone eras.
