   Why is it worth visiting the museum?

  The view from the observation deck allows you to see the city, the surrounding area and Pleshcheyevo Lake.

  Interesting expositions: Pereyaslavl novy, silver pantry, wooden sculpture, nature of the region

  Beautiful carved iconostasis inside the Assumption Cathedral (only in summer!)

   Why is it worth a visit?

  The first Provincial Museum of Russia

  Important historical information is about the "funny" fleet, about the boat.

  The only boat house in Russia is the "botny" house.

  An interesting collection of historical objects in the White Palace.

  There are places for selfies and photographing on the territory. View from the hill to Pleshcheyevo lake. On a bright day, the opposite shore, Alexandrova Gora, and Nikitsky Monastery are visible.

  Parking: in front of the museum there is a parking lot, a cafe, kiosks with souvenirs.

  We recommend visiting the Red Square, which houses the most ancient cathedral of Russia - the Transfiguration of the Savior (open in summer) and be sure to walk along the ancient ramparts.
  

  Parking: on Sadovaya Street (next to Vladimir Cathedral and Alexander Nevsky Church). 

  Near the parking lot there is a large selection of souvenirs both on the street and in nearby small museums. 

  There is an art gallery in the Vladimir Cathedral.

  Charging point: The optimal place for overnight travelers on electric vehicles is the AZIMUT Park Hotel Pereslavl 4* hotel. The Red Square is 16 km from the hotel, the travel time is 30 minutes. Hotel address: Pereslavsky district, Ivanisovo village, Dachnaya str., 100.
