The Volga Bridge is the most original and longest along the length of the Volga River. He became one of the business cards of Rybinsk. It is part of a single architectural ensemble with the embankment and the Transfiguration Cathedral. Such an unusual combination of modern and ancient architecture can be called a symbol of the development of the city and its gradually increasing role in the region.

Interestingly, during the construction of the bridge, it was planned to demolish the cathedral, but the war and the difficult situation prevented this. They returned to the ferry construction project only in 1955, choosing another place for construction and leaving the historical masterpiece intact. Today, the Volga Bridge performs only a transport function, but serves as a real decoration of the city, attracting many guests and locals.
