One day in the life of a peasant with full immersion awaits everyone on this route. Moving away from the hustle and bustle of the city, smog and traffic jams, you can not only see the sprawling meadows and fields of our region with your own eyes, but also "touch" the history of craft places, take part in caring for farm animals, feed, milk ..., cook sheep and goat cheese with your own hands, personally feel how life flows here according to- to the other – without the fuss and the endless stream of cars.
The route includes the following locations:
1. Sightseeing tour to Velikoye village
2. Velikoselsky Museum of merchant life (Museum of Local Lore)
3. Lunch at the Potato Riot cafe
4. The farm of the Abdulatipovs
Until the beginning of the 18th century, it was a royal patrimony, and in 1709, Emperor Peter the Great presented the village to his friend and associate Field Marshal General Anikita Ivanovich Repnin, for the victory at Poltava. It was Prince Repnin who laid the largest of the four Great Village churches, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin, 300 years ago. The main decoration of the village is an architectural ensemble consisting of two churches of the beginning of the XVIII century of the Nativity of the Virgin, the Intercession of the Virgin and the bell tower between them. The pearl of the village is the estate of merchant Lokalov, whose main mansion was built in pseudo–Russian style, decorated with turrets, weathervanes and surrounded by a magnificent wrought-iron fence
A real peasant farm, where there are more than a thousand dairy sheep, vast expanses, meadows and fields of our region.
You will be able to choose two options for visiting an ECO-farm:
1. Walk around the farm, participate in feeding, milking or shearing sheep, fishing on the pond.
Tasting of fresh rye flour tortillas carefully prepared by the owners with cold farm milk and cheese of their own production.
At the end of the tour, everyone will receive a treat, which they will take home, and handmade cream soap.
The duration of the tour is 1.5–2 hours.
2. A visit to the farm, a walk through the vast territory of the ECO-farm, a story about the idea of its origin from the mouths of the owners themselves and live communication with the inhabitants of the farm.
The second component of the tour is a master class on cheese preparation. With your own hands, you can make cheese from cow, goat and sheep products, taste and take it with you.
The duration of the tour is 4 hours.
