Enogastronomic Festival of Russian Winemakers

The Festival of Russian Winemakers will be held in Yaroslavl for the first time from April 29 to May 02.

Yaroslavl became the first of nine winning cities to host the federal Roskachestvo project, where wines from domestic farms and local gastronomic specialties will be presented.

Residents of the region will be able to get acquainted with the best examples of domestic winemaking, including the products of small wineries.

The gastronomic festival will become part of a large-scale program to promote the products of Russian manufacturers.

The fairs will be held in the format of a city festival: tastings, lectures from winemakers and sommeliers, gastronomic areas and, of course, the opportunity to buy wine directly from producers. Visitors will be able to taste and purchase the best examples of Russian winemaking, from large farms to small wineries, for which participation in fairs will be an opportunity to make themselves known.

As part of the educational program, lectures and master classes will be conducted by experts of the Wine Guide of Russia, industry experts and representatives of wineries. Guests will be told how to choose high-quality Russian wine, where to look for it, how to navigate styles and categories, as well as the principles of gastronomic combinations and serving rules.

The main attraction of the Yaroslavl region is a constellation of 12 ancient cities: Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Danilov, Lyubim, Myshkin, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Poshekhonye, Rostov the Great, Rybinsk, Tutaev, Uglich and the flooded Mologa. Each of them has its own unique appearance and atmosphere.
